Basketball Recap: Ocala Christian Comes Up Short

Ocala Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Redeemer Christian Lions, falling 53-24. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-23 on January 9th.

Redeemer Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Selena Martin, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Laramie Butler, who earned 12 points.

Ocala Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Redeemer Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Ocala Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redeemer Christian, they will welcome First Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
