Garfield kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 14-4 walloping at the hands of the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions. The loss means Garfield is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
For Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology's part, Analeigh Feliciano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
