Basketball Game Preview: Beaver Local Beavers vs. United Golden Eagles

The Beaver Local Beavers will venture away from home to square off against the United Golden Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Beaver Local is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Monday, Beaver Local had to suffer through a 57-13 loss at the hands of Indian Creek. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Redskins are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask United). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Valley Christian 58-26. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 30 points or more this season.

Beaver Local's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for United, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Beaver Local took a serious blow against United in their previous matchup back in February, falling 52-23. Can Beaver Local avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
