Saugus strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Burbank Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Centurions also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Leading Saugus to victory were Emily Tran and Chasiah Omoregie. Tran had six aces and one assist, while Omoregie had five digs and five aces. Those six aces gave Tran a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Saugus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive games.

Saugus' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Burbank, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Saugus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gabrielino on the 16th. As for Burbank, they will challenge Flintridge Sacred Heart at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
