Volleyball Game Preview: King's Academy Lions vs. Boca Raton Bobcats

The King's Academy Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Boca Raton Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

King's Academy managed to slip by Boca Raton Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Blazers on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since October 26, 2024.

While King's Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Boca Raton duked it out with Legacy on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Lions.

Boca Raton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

King's Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Boca Raton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
