Meanwhile, Page hadn't done well against Lincoln County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Falcons 9-7. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Ashley Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Page let Adriana Callahan and Anna Johnson run wild. Callahan went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Johnson went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most hits Johnson has posted since back in April.

Coffee County Central's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Page, their record is now 19-5.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Coffee County Central hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Page struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Coffee County Central couldn't quite get it done against Page in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 as they fell 7-4. Can the Red Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
