Baseball Recap: Antietam Takes a Loss

Antietam fell victim to Berks Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Saints, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Mountaineers have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Antietam's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Berks Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antietam will venture away from home to square off against Kutztown at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Berks Catholic, they will head out to take on Chester at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Clippers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
