After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Proctor, Denfeld was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Greenway Raiders by a score of 63-56. With that victory, the Hunters brought their scoring average up to 52.8 points per game.

Denfeld's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Laynie Reinertsen led the charge by dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Breaysha Kidd was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Denfeld smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Denfeld's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Denfeld is taking a road trip to challenge Marshall at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Greenway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
