Stanberry has gone 8-2 against Maysville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Stanberry Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Maysville Wolverines at 7:30 p.m.

Stanberry came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Rock Port, falling 74-42. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Blue Jays are ranked 155th).

Meanwhile, Maysville came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 victory over the Bulldogs.

Maysville's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Stanberry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Stanberry was dealt a bruising 78-33 loss at the hands of Maysville when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Stanberry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
