Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-13 loss at the hands of the Lake Arthur Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy this season, with their most recent defeat being a 62-24 loss last Saturday.

Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy's record now sits at 2-23. As for Lake Arthur, their victory bumped their record up to 10-17.

Coming up, Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Patterson on Tuesday. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy is facing Patterson at the right time seeing as Patterson is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lake Arthur, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Welsh at 6:00 p.m. Lake Arthur knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Welsh likes a good challenge.
