Volleyball Game Preview: Pacifica Tritons vs. Ventura Cougars

The Pacifica Tritons will head out to take on the Ventura Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pacifica has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 3.

Pacifica lost 3-0 to Rio Mesa on Tuesday.

Pacifica took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-23.

Ventura not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th. They put the hurt on Buena with a sharp 3-0 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 18, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ventura, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Pacifica came up short against Ventura in their previous meeting on Thursday, falling 3-1. Can the Tritons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
