Crosby-Ironton fell victim to Mora and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 9-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Rangers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Hinckley-Finlayson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 12-5 to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia].

Ethan Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Crosby-Ironton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Hinckley-Finlayson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
