Baseball Game Recap: Stall Warriors vs. Ashley Ridge Swamp Fox

Stall had lost 17 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 0-16 to make it 18. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Ashley Ridge Swamp Fox, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

As for Ashley Ridge, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-12 record. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Ashley Ridge's part, Will Jutzeler looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave Jutzeler a new career-high.

At the plate, Jack Healing was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Brodie Tuthill was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Ashley Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Hanahan on the 28th. Hopefully Stall paid attention to the Swamp Fox's matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Swamp Fox at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
