The Aucilla Christian Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Riverside Christian Wranglers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Aucilla Christian's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Riverside Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Aucilla Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Franklin County on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Seahawks by a score of 3-2.

Collin Campbell was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.
At the plate, Aucilla Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Mills, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside Christian). They put the hurt on Meadowbrook Academy with a sharp 18-1 win on Thursday. With that victory, the Wranglers brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.
Kyan Cooper made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabe Pate, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Riverside Christian is 3-1 when Pate posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Haiden Duke was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
The win made it two in a row for Riverside Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-5. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 11.5 hits in those games compared to only five in the others. As for Aucilla Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Aucilla Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Riverside Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
