Football Recap: Center Line Skates Past Sterling Heights with Ease

While Center Line put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Sterling Heights. The Panthers blew past the Stallions 54-0. The Panthers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Center Line's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Masai Ali, who rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one TD. Another signal caller making a difference was Matthew Fizia, who threw for 116 yards and three TDs on only nine passes.

Center Line's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sterling Heights, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Center Line will be playing at home against Marine City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sterling Heights, they will head out on the road to square off against South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
