Volleyball Recap: Horse Creek Academy Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Horse Creek Academy walked away with it. They won by a set and slipped past the Great Falls Red Devils 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stallions have posted since August 24, 2024.

Great Falls lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emily Manning, who had eight kills, three digs, and two aces. She has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kenslee Powers, who had 23 digs and three aces.

Horse Creek Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Great Falls, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-7-1.

Horse Creek Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Dixie on the 27th. Great Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
