Volleyball Recap: Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Summit Leadership Academy last Thursday, Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy came back down to earth. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy fell 3-1 to the Rancho Mirage Rattlers on Wednesday.

While Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 22-25, 25-19.

Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Rancho Mirage, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy will host PAL Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rancho Mirage, they will venture away from home to take on Academy of Careers & Exploration at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
