Mineral Point is 9-1 against Boscobel since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pointers will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m.

Mineral Point fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Fennimore on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Pointers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Boscobel hadn't done well against Iowa-Grant recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Panthers 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Mineral Point's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Boscobel, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-5.

Mineral Point beat Boscobel 9-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Pointers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
