Volleyball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Greeneville Greene Devils, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Greene Devils: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Seymour ultimately came up short, they really made Greeneville work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 25-19.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Greeneville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seymour will welcome Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greeneville, they will be playing at home against Elizabethton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
