Softball Recap: Southern Alamance Takes a Loss

After flying high against Western Alamance on Friday, Southern Alamance came back down to earth. The Patriots came up short against the Warriors on Monday, falling 12-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Southern Alamance's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Western Alamance, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9.

Southern Alamance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Western Alamance, they will square off against Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
