Basketball Recap: Douglas Finds Home Court Redemption Against Crossville

There's no place like home for Douglas, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Crossville Lions 50-32 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-50 back in December of 2024.

Douglas now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Crossville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Douglas will square off against Locust Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Locust Fork knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 contests -- so hopefully Douglas likes a good challenge. As for Crossville, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Crossville Lions challenge the Woodville Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
