Soccer Recap: Hug Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Hug had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Palo Verde Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Julian Enriquez Ornelas Enriquez Ornelas was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win (which was Hug's tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those ten matches. As for Palo Verde, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5-3.

Hug wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Coronado on the 8th. Palo Verde does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
