Basketball Recap: Sheyenne Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Sheyenne can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past the Fargo South Bruins with a 68-62 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in March.

Sheyenne pushed their record up to 1-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.2 points per game. As for Fargo South, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Sheyenne and Mandan will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Mandan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
