Volleyball Recap: Marmion Comes Up Short

Marmion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oswego Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cadets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Marmion's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Oswego, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Marmion will challenge St. Laurence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oswego, they will square off against Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
