Volleyball Recap: David City Triumphs

David City won the last time they faced Plattsmouth and things went their way on Saturday too. The Scouts came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Scouts.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant David City was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-11.

Kamryn Behrns paced David City's offense, picking up eight kills. Behrns got some help from Kambri Andel and her seven assists. Kaileigh Covert and Emma Zimmerman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

David City has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Plattsmouth, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

David City has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Seward on the 30th. As for Plattsmouth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Ralston on the 30th.
