Deer Valley extended their home winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Seath Brightwell. The Skyhawks blew past the Cactus Cobras 3-0 on Monday thanks in part to Brightwell, who had 14 digs and one assist. He has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times he's played.

Deer Valley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-12.

Deer Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. As for Cactus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deer Valley will face off against Goldwater at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Skyhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cactus, they will take on Thunderbird at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cobras surely won't give up without a fight.
