Softball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Hauser's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Hauser unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 9-6 to the Morristown Yellow Jackets. The Jets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellow Jackets earlier this season, when they won 13-1.

Lexie Hamilton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Robbinson, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hauser's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 11-6. As for Morristown, their record now sits at 9-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hauser will take on Oldenburg Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Jets are facing the Twisters at the right time seeing as the Twisters are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Morristown, they will face off against Waldron at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
