The Shaw Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 24 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 62-34 win over Northside at home. The victory was nothing new for Shaw as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Dorian Head, who scored 16 points. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. Trey Adkins was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Northside lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Barrington Adams. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Saylor, who scored eight points.

Shaw pushed their record up to 6-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Northside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shaw will take on Carver at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Carver's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for Northside, they will head out on the road to face off against Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Columbus is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
