The Tulare Western Mustangs will take on the Hanford Bullpups at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tulare Western is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Tulare Western is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Dinuba just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 16-7 to the Emperors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since May 2, 2024.

Emily Leon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Meiah Ledesma, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Hanford was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell 6-2 to Tulare Union. The Bullpups haven't had much luck with the Tribe recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Tulare Western's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for Hanford, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.
