Soccer Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mt. Zion Braves, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mt. Zion this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

Charleston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Mt. Zion, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Zion, they will challenge Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
