First Baptist Christian had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Our Lady of the Elms Panthers 3-0. The Sabres have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant First Baptist Christian was: they took every set by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-6, 25-5.

Kate Burman paced First Baptist Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Burman got some help from Joanna Wacker and her 15 assists. Kara Gravley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

First Baptist Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Our Lady of the Elms, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, First Baptist Christian will head out to challenge St. Martin de Porres at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Our Lady of the Elms, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Andrews Osborne Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 9.
