The biggest upset of the week belonged to Gates Chili, who defeated 138th ranked Fairport, 23-16.
Rush-Henrietta was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Section 5 Monroe I. Earlier in the week, the Royal Comets defeated Marshall/Charlotte 41-0.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Mendon/Sutherland takes on second place Hilton. Mendon/Sutherland defeated Webster Schroeder last week, while Hilton bested Webster Thomas.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Cadets take on the Panthers. Hilton has allowed 15 points this season, while Mendon/Sutherland has given up 35. The Cadets allowed 9 points last week as they beat the Titans.
The Spartans scaled the state rankings by moving to 145 from 187 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Gates Chili climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Red Raiders 23-16.
