Baseball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia lost against La Quinta back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sentinels took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztecs. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magnolia saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josue Marin, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was Santiago Cortez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for La Quinta, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

As of now, neither Magnolia nor the Aztecs have any future games scheduled.
