Parkwood won the last time they faced Central Academy and things went their way  on Thursday too. Parkwood walked away with  a   12-9  victory over Central Academy. That's two games straight that the Wolf Pack have won by  exactly three  runs.
 Grayce Marvel was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season.  Bethany Fisher was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Marvel wasn't the only one working in the  home run department: Parkwood  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
The  win made it two in a row for Parkwood and  bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Central Academy,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 5-4 record.
 Looking ahead, Parkwood will host Forest Hills  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Central Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  17-2  win against Lee Park Prep on the 24th.
