Soccer Recap: Scripps Ranch Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Helix, Scripps Ranch was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Valhalla Norsemen a 3-0 shutout. The Falcons' winning goal came courtesy of Brandon Gousset.

Scripps Ranch now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Valhalla, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Scripps Ranch will take on Rancho Buena Vista in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scripps Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Valhalla, they will head out to challenge Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Patrick Henry's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
