Volleyball Recap: Charleston Comes Up Short at Home Against Egyptian

Charleston unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Egyptian Pharaohs on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Charleston was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Egyptian work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 14-25, 25-13, 27-25.

Egyptian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Charleston will be playing in front of their home fans against Kennett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Egyptian, they are taking a road trip to take on Cairo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
