Football Game Preview: Montclair Cavaliers vs. Chaffey Tigers + How To Watch

Montclair is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Chaffey a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Montclair Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Chaffey Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Montclair is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Rowland on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Cavaliers took a blow against the Raiders, falling 44-7. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chaffey). They blew past Don Lugo, posting a 63-14 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Chaffey didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Aiden Uribe, Jessie Flores Jr., and Carlos Vasquez picked up one apiece. Vasquez also rushed for 274 rushing yards, which is notable because Chaffey is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-4 otherwise.

Montclair now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Chaffey, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-5.
