Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hale Center). They were the clear victors by  a  29-1 margin over the Olton Mustangs on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Owls sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
 Alyssa Borunda made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. What's more,  she posted four  strikeouts, the most she's  had since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with five  stolen bases, four  runs,  and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Avelynn Trevino was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and three  RBI. She continues to improve, besting her previous  run total in each of the last three games she's  played.  Jocylin Marquez was another key player,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI.
 Hale Center was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .897. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .344 or higher in ten consecutive  matchups.
Hale Center's victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 21-5. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Olton,  they are  on  a  12-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-18.
