St. John's triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Cam Beal

Recap: St. John's Islanders vs. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats

The St. John's Islanders's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics by a score of 62-55. The win was just what St. John's needed coming off of a 68-43 defeat in their prior contest.

Cam Beal was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 20 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tr?Sean White, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.

St. John's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's will challenge Stall at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Charleston Math & Science at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th.
