Comenius extends road losing streak to eight

Recap: Comenius Knights vs. Charlotte Elite Academy Soldiers

The Comenius Knights suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Charlotte Elite Academy on the road and fell 86-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (56), Comenius still had to take the loss.

Charlotte Elite Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan King led the charge by scoring 23 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points King has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jalyn Connor, who scored 14 points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Comenius' defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 9-14. As for Charlotte Elite Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Comenius will take on Franklin Prep Academy National at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charlotte Elite Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winston-Salem Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
