Basketball Game Preview: George-Little Rock Mustangs vs. Harris-Lake Park Wolves

George-Little Rock is 8-2 against Harris-Lake Park since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The George-Little Rock Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harris-Lake Park Wolves. One thing working in George-Little Rock's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

Last Thursday, George-Little Rock got the win against Trinity Christian by a conclusive 59-34. The Mustangs have beaten the Tigers the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Harris-Lake Park waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 33-25. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Wolverines are ranked 281st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

George-Little Rock's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Harris-Lake Park, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

George-Little Rock won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by Harris-Lake Park 39-38. Will George-Little Rock repeat their success, or does Harris-Lake Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
