Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the East Ascension Spartans, falling 16-3. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 18-14.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for East Ascension, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Central has already played their next game, a 12-4 win against Cecilia on the 8th. As for East Ascension, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-9 victory against Assumption on the 1st.
