Softball Recap: Atascadero Greyhounds vs. Mt. Whitney Pioneers
Atascadero won the last time they faced Mt. Whitney, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Atascadero Greyhounds were the clear victor by a 17-3 margin over the Mt. Whitney Pioneers. The win made it back-to-back victories for Atascadero.
Olivia Moscardi made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Moscardi was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in the last five games she's played.
