Soccer Recap: Loretto Triumphs

While Loretto's victory against Wayne County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs beat the Wildcats by a goal, winning 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Loretto also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Loretto's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Wayne County, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Loretto is set to take on their familiar foe Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wayne County will challenge rival Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
