On Friday Parker take on Irene/Wakonda at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close contest.
Parker came up short against Howard last Friday, falling 12-22.
Meanwhile, Irene/Wakonda simply couldn't be stopped, as they easily beat Chester 65-6. The Irene/Wakonda offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.
Irene/Wakonda's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Parker's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. In their victory, Irene/Wakonda relied heavily on senior Trey King, who picked up 154 yards on the ground and threw 4 TDs; a key strategy for Parker will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
