Softball Recap: Patton Panthers vs. East Burke Cavaliers
Patton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East Burke, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Patton Panthers were the clear victor by a 16-6 margin over the East Burke Cavaliers on Monday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 17-2 victory the Cavaliers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Patton let Kara Redwine and Jolann Buff run wild. Redwine scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4, while Buff went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave Redwine a new career-high in RBI (two). Joelie Pinto also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Patton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
