Football Recap: Bunn Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Bunn took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They strolled past the South Granville Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 18-0. The Wildcats were shut out 34-0 the last time they took on the Vikings, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

Bunn's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dj Smith, who picked up 113 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 113 receiving yards gave Smith a new career-high.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bunn's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Mahki Wilder was the leader with 2.5.

Looking ahead, Bunn will venture away from home to face off against Franklinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Granville, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Vance County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
