Volleyball Recap: Fife Comes Up Short

Fife suffered their biggest loss since October 7, 2024 on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Tumwater Thunderbirds. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Thunderbirds: they've now lost three in a row.

While Fife was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-16.

Fife now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tumwater, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Fife will take on Steilacoom at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Tumwater, they will challenge Kelso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
