Basketball Recap: South Johnston Takes a Loss

South Johnston lost against East Wake back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Johnston Trojans took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Wake Warriors. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for East Wake, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Johnston will host West Johnston at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Wake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithfield-Selma at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
