Baseball Recap: Fenwick Friars vs. Loyola Academy Ramblers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Laurence, Fenwick was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Loyola Academy Ramblers a 5-0 shutout. This was payback for the Friars, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Matt Purta tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Fenwick is 6-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 11-14-1 otherwise.
